today our church prayed for the mother who's 11 year old died this week. he was riding bikes with his cousin & they were racing. as he was looking back, to see if he was winning, he ran into the back of a truck. we prayed that God would bring her comfort in this terrible time. I'm going to stop, because the very thought makes me cry. so I'm going to hold my baby for a while and pray for her.

Learning colors

We worked on our colors today. Maverick left class early, laughing!

Christopher loves his Bumbo, he can sit up all on his own, what a big boy!

Barney was more interesting than me.

I swear, one of these days, he's going to throw a color shape at me! We work on colors and shapes every day. (English & Spanish)

Are we done yet? If I tell mom that Ellen is on, class will be over real quick!

The Baby House

What a day!!!!!!!!

Today has been on of those days!

My baby, who never cries or gets fussy, got really FUSSY today. The poor little guy can't find enough things to chew on. He cries and cries, falls asleep for a minute and then wakes up crying again.

Right now, with Orajel & Tylnol he's a sleep. I hope he can get a little rest.

Christopher had already gone to bed, since we checked the mail so late, he got to see his card this morning.

We had a great morning at church, then all came home and took a long nap, now we're getting ready for dinner.

Back to normal!

Yesterday was such a tough day! Christopher got his 1st shots and he was not feeling well afterwards. He hurt and just wasn't himself BUT even through the pain, he tried to smile, which broke my heart to see him that way. We all called it an early day & all went to bed.

This morning I was greated with the smile I know & love!!! We spent our morning in bed talking and cooing. It was wonderful to have my little guy felling better.

Today is grandpa Fred's birthday and Christopher's 1st round of shots! What a day for the both of them. Once the baby wakes up and is in a better mood (I hope) I will post a special picture for grandpa.

Hope he gets his birthday package in the mail soon! Be sure you look in the envelope real good, there's something in a yellow folder, you're gonna love it!!!!

1st Fight

Christopher & Maverick had a little fight today. The both wanted the chair. Christopher kicked & kicked but Mav wouldn't move. Christopher kept smiling.

Mav says "do you see him kicking me?" but he still wouldn't move!!!!!!!

what a night!

Well.................it's one of those nights! Colic set in and my poor little guy hurts. Tonight it was Daddy who got him calm and asleep. Now they are both a sleep in the big bed, warm under the blanket together, I'm jealous. (kidding, I love these moments) He feels so safe in his arms.

ONE WEEK OLD

1st road trip

Christopher with his cousins Matthew & Adam.

We took our 1st road trip with the baby this weekend. This is a task becuase Christopher doesn't like the car. He screams! On the way to Houston he cried the 1st ten minutes of the ride, then wore him self out. On the way back, he slept till we hit the Fort Worth city limits, then the screaming began. Over all, it went ok.

Been Busy!

Ok, most of you who know me, I love to sew. (mostly bibs) But I haven't had time since the baby. Easter is right around the corner and I still haven't even cut out my fabric. Let's hope I can get them done in time.
